Officers and board members have a responsibility to the association owners. This includes enforcing all governing document requirements.  But the condo only works if you have a cooperative community.  Owners must abide by the requirements.  It's easier said than done at times. We have found that knowledge is a powerful tool in working with your community.  The owners are the benefactors of good governing.  Part of it is just getting the owner to understand the Declaration/CC&Rs as they are like a partnership agreement, equitable requirements to provide cohesive living.

The purpose of CONDOabc is to provide resources of information that will assist board members with everyday issues. While many organizations are focused on changing legislation, we have formed our organization to try to provide solutions to everyday problems. Whether it involves a mold issue to a legal issue, we want to be a helpful resource for the officers and directors of all associations.

Condoabc.com and its directory website address many issues that all board members face daily. If an issue is not on the site, a member can ask a question online or get an answer at one of our quarterly lunch meetings. Besides our website, we plan to have additional meetings each year to discuss issues and solutions in an enjoyable atmosphere.

Our goal is to be the premier sharing website and organization that board members can turn to for information and solutions to everyday problems. We hope we can be helpful to you.

As we move forward, we will host lunch meetings for our members and have the membership to support it. The meetings will offer the opportunity to meet and listen to special guests, including experts from many various fields of expertise.

We currently have one publican, "The Buyers Guide", and may provide additional publications and important material for our members.

NEW LAWS

When new laws are passed, or we learn of interpretations or court rulings, we will pass the information on to inform the members about the laws that are applicable to a condo or homeowner’s association.
